Fumbly's Note

Hufflepuff is this year's winner of the House Cup! Before I start gushing about how proud I am... here are a few numbers:

Hufflepuff: 66,350 (with 249 students)
Ravenclaw: 60,647 (with 285 students)
Gryffindor: 57,575 (with 435 students)
Slytherin: 50,653 (with 254 students)
Not only did the Badgers win with a nearly 6,000 point lead, we are also the smallest house! That is an incredible accomplishment, and one that should fill every one of you with gobs and kettles of pride. This couldn't have happened without students doing their homework, HOL Project and Contest Participants, Quidditch Players, the Magazine Staff... and the SILLINESS and FRIENDSHIP that kept us sane throughout all the hard work.

I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooo proud of my amazing Badgers! A present from me to the house is in mid-creation and I hope to have it completed by this evening or tomorrow.

Well, now it is officially summer break! And the fun will continue in Hufflepuff. We are planning a Summer Socks Term... allowing contests, games... and other fun (hehehe) to continue during the break.

Socks earned this previous year are being searched down, added up, and the winner of the Annual Kingdom Sock Hoarding Contest should be announced within a couple weeks.

Remember... current contests (which count for the Summer Socks Term) include the Hufflepuff Banner Contest and the Hufflepuff Motto Contest (details found in "The Sett"). If *you* have any other fun ideas for Summer activities... feel free to PM me or another member of the HuffleStaff. Rumors floating around suggest that Dom McDermott is planning another one of his fun activities... keep a lookout for that one!

The Sorting Hat will (probably) open this Friday, meaning we will have lots of New Badger Friends wandering the Halls and Tunnels of Hufflepuff Tower. If you are a participant in the Lost and Found Project... you're about to get a LOT more work. ;) And if you're not a participant, yet would like to be, contact Emma Pacifica.

Thank you thank you THANK YOU!!!... For being such an incredible and warm house!

*hugs you all*

Love,
Fumbly
